Thom Vromen signed colored lithograph we think portraying Thomas Edison. Vromen was a famous midcentury illustrator who attended the Beaux Art School in Paris. He graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began a career in painting, which won him numerous awards from art organizations around the world. In 1974, along with Norman Rockwell, he was chosen as one of the thirteen leading contemporary artists in the United States. Vromen's madmen illustrations were most prolific in children’s books of the 1960s. His intricately detailed paintings have appeared in The Saturday Evening Post, Holiday, McCall’s, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Venture and many others.

CONDITION

Excellent. Looks like anti UVA- matte finish glass looks like it is archival matting board.
